Look for both the patch and DLC to become available in early November, to coincide with the Blu-ray release of Scott Pilgrim vs The World.If you’re looking for value, there are hours of entertainment on offer in some top-notch ports. To me, an experienced player in this game, the ‘Average Joe’ difficulty level felt a lot less punishing than in the initial release.

A free patch will introduce drop in co-op – no need to wait til the end of the level to get some help – as well as various bug fixes and tweaking. The $1.99 DLC pack also includes Dodgeball and Battle Royale modes, and 3 new Knives-related Trophies. Those of you who have played the game know that Knives is the summon-able helper for Scott, Ramona, Kim, and Stills, so I was wondering if she’d summon… herself? Actually, a tap of the L1 button sends either her sword-wielding father or tracksuited mom into the fray to help out. Knives Chau (17 years old) is the highlight of an upcoming DLC pack, as you’ll finally be able to play as the Scott-obsessed high schooler. Soon you’ll have a reason to jump back into August’s #1 PSN title: Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game. Various cheat codes unlock extra features, such as a Boss Rush and a Survival Horror mode. During co-operative play, players can revive fallen comrades, give each other health or money and simultaneously taunt for a combined attack. Players can also enter Subspace areas which act as bonus areas where extra coins can be earned. Defeating enemies earns coins which can be spent in shops to purchase items that can replenish health or boost stats. Each player has Heart Points and Guts Points, the latter of which can revive players if they are knocked out, or be used to perform special moves such as summoning Knives Chau. Characters have their own individual movesets, which can be expanded upon by gaining enough experience, and are also able to use weapons.
Loosely following the story of the graphic novels, up to four players can play as Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers, Kim Pine or Stephen Stills (along with the unlockable character Nega-Scott), who must battle through seven levels in order to defeat Ramona's seven evil exes. The World: The Game Complete Edition will return to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia and PC The Solus Project: Early Access release announced.
